What’s your journey been like as an artist?
I started out acting onstage at a young age. All the way through college I’ve continued to find different ways to channel my creative energy through the worlds of theater, design, music, and composition.
Ghosts come in many forms and from various cultural backgrounds. Do you think you will incorporate your culture into your portrayal of different ghostly entities?
None specifically come to mind, though that does make me think of all the different ways ghosts/entities/deities are portrayed.
Are there artists who have had a significant impact on your creative journey?
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are my all time favorite comfort band!
Are there any specific historical events or haunted locations that have served as inspiration for your piece?
No events in specific, my piece is more rooted from the fear of being placed unprepared in front of an audience; a legitimate fear most everyone can relate to, not only actors!
What are your thoughts on having only two weeks to write, rehearse, and perform an entire show?
I LOVE the chaos!! The idea of embracing the imperfect nature that comes with having such a short time adds just enough pressure to keep us on our toes.
